Our bespoke alcove floating shelves are designed to fit alcoves and similar spaces. These gorgeous chunky shelves will add a bold look to any room and are a great alternative to built in alcove shelving units.
Crafted from reclaimed lumber, our alcove shelves are both solid and full of character.
Each shelf is unique and comes with its own personality. As with all reclaimed wood, it will show signs of its past life which all adds to the natural charm and beauty of these pieces.

All our alcove shelves as standard can be finished in 5 of our sumptuous signature colours. Or if you’re looking to paint them the same colour as your walls we can also leave them raw. Other wax finishes can be used upon request – just email or call us directly us and we’ll be more than happy to help.
FLOATING SYSTEM:
These alcove shelves are designed to fit alcove spaces in a ‘floating’ style using a clever technique. We route 2 discreet grooves at each end of the shelf which then sits on top of the easy-to-install wall rods. This offers very substantial support.

Most alcoves are not square…Therefore you need to measure 2 points.
1. Your “Rear width” (where the alcove meets your wall),
2. The leading edge/ face of where your shelf will be). “Front width”.
3. Take the smaller of the two dimensions and that is the shelf width you will require.
Example; your rear width may be 114.2cm and your front width 115cm. In this case order alcove shelf 114cm width. Repeat this process for each point where you want an alcove shelf.
